After flipping the tables on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey', Teresa Giudice is all set to shake her leg on 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 31. The 'RHONJ' star, who is known for her temper, will team up with pro Pasha Pashkov. The show will drop on September 19 on Disney +. Interestingly, Giudice did not compete in the reality show back in 2016.

Her decision was influenced buy her arrest in 2014. According to a People article dated October 2014, Giudice had been arrested for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud with ex-husband Joe. After confessing guilty to all these crimes, she was sentenced to a 15-month prison term in Danbury, Connecticut, while Joe got a 41 months. She was released in December 2015.

Why didn’t Teresa Giudice participate in 'DWTS'?

In an interview with Page Six on Thursday, September 8, Giudice spoke about how she had earlier also been approached for the reality show but had a difficult phase back then. She had been struggling to cope with changes. She revealed that, back then, she had just gotten out of prison. She said, "It’s better now, because – I hate to say the word, prison – but I got asked to be on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ as soon as I came home. And I remember I was struggling with it."

"The kids were still young and I just got home and I didn’t want to leave them … I was very torn. But then I couldn’t do it anyway because I had to be on Bravo first [for ‘RHONJ’]," she added.

Besides Giudice, ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 31 also stars Charli D’Amelio with Mark Ballas, Heidi D’Amelio with Artem Chigvintsev, Selma Blair with Sasha Farber, Shangela with Gleb Savchenko, Wayne Brady with Witney Carson, Cheryl Ladd with Louis Amstel, Daniel Durant with Britt Stewart, Jordin Sparks with Brandon Armstrong, Vinny Guadagnino with Koko Iwasaki, Gabby  Windey with Val Chmerkovskiy, Jason Lewis with Peta Murgatroyd, Jessie James Decker with Alan Bersten, Trevor Donovan with Emma Slater, Sam Champion with Cheryl Burke and Joseph Baena with Daniella Karagach. With a star-studded ensemble cast, audiences are surely about to get loads of mindblowing dance performances and entertainment as well.

Tyra Banks will return as host, alongside Alfonso Ribeiro. Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will be back as judges this season
