It's been just a few months since we've heard new music from Cherry Bullet and the bubblegum K-pop girl group is already set for an epic comeback with their first-ever mini-album. Here's all you need to know for Cherry Bullet's upcoming EP below.

Release date

Titled 'Cherry Rush', the group's new EP is scheduled to release on January 20 at 6 pm KST / 4 am EST.

Concept

While a debut studio album is yet to be announced, 'Cherry Rush' will mark the group's first big project in the form of a five-track Extended Play. Alluded by its title, 'Cherry Rush' will see the group showcasing their sweeter side and if we're reflecting on themes of their recent social media posts and artwork, fans can expect to see a lot of bright colors (with pink as the primary), cuteness and contagious smiles with equally buoyant music to match.

Earlier this month, Cherry Bullet dropped the full schedule for their comeback on both Instagram and Twitter. Check it out below:

January 12: Jacket Poster
January 14: Music video teaser 1
January 16: Highlight medley & tracklist
January 18: Music video teaser 2
January 20: Music video and album release

'Cherry Rush' will follow the group's non-album single 'Aloha Oe' which released in August 2020. Unlike the sweeter vibes of their upcoming EP, the song featured a breezy and romantic summer pop tune.

Tracklist

We will have to wait for the official reveal of the tracklist tomorrow, but according to Wikipedia, songs on 'Cherry Rush' are as follows:
Love So Sweet
Ting-a-ring-a-ring (종소리)
Whatever (멋대로 해)
Keep Your Head Up (폼 나게)
Follow Me (라팜파)

Teasers/announcements

The aforementioned music video from the schedule is for the brand-new song 'Love So Sweet'. The short clip features members playfully teasing the camera with cute expressions in a bright room adorned with imagery of sweet treats, balloons, and more while the song itself carries a peppy whistling tune over an energetic dance beat. Watch the first teaser below.

Support from FNC labelmates

During the early hours of January 15, YongHwa (a member of the South Korean pop-rock band CNBLUE and fellow labelmate under FNC Entertainment) dropped in on the group's Twitter to show support for Cherry Bullet's new project, noting his enjoyment over listening to 'Love So Sweet'. "Oh oh this song is good," he wrote in response to the teaser.
