‘Cher, no apologies necessary, ever’
Social media users rushed to Twitter with an intention to extend a helping hand. “When I think about how long @cher has been on the side of the LGBTQIAP community & speaking out for us, it really just makes me cry because I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else at her level speaking up for us as long as she has. I hope she finds joy everyday”, said one user as another posted, “Never give up Cher! You are appreciated and loved. Glad you took some time to regroup, take care of yourself so you can continue the fight to help others.”
The next one tweeted, “Cher. She’s just like us.” Meanwhile, one shared, “Cher, no apologies necessary, ever. None of us even have a compass point of a prayer about how to live our lives right now. Deep breaths to help your body handle the barrage. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us all. It means so much to us all you are here now.” One user added, “We love you, Cher. You don't need to justify your absence to us,” as, another concluded with a positive message saying, “Hugs from the entire world!”
