The fall finale of the second season of 'Charmed' aired this week and we saw Abigael reclaiming her "demon overlord" title, this time without having to wear a mask, thanks to her sneaky plans.

In the last episode, Abigael plotted with Godric to hide the fact that Godric killed the Dryads and stole the immunity fruits.

This week, her plans became clearer as she pretended to work with Harry and Macy to take down Parker who had consumed the fruits and tuned into his demon side.

By pretending to kill Parker, she not only gained the trust of the Charmed Ones—and especially Harry with whom she shared a passionate kiss with at the end of the episode—but also managed to trick the demons into uniting after making them believe that the Charmed Ones killed Parker.

Parker is still alive and locked away, but we assume Abigael has something planned for him. After all, when Godric tells her that she has everything she ever wanted, she replies with "almost", implying that Abigael's plans are not yet over.

One thing Abigael has wanted most—from what we have learned of her over the past few episodes—is the approval of her father, Abigael Caine, who did not want her alive because she was a half-witch, and also a woman.

Perhaps, this had been Abigael's intention all along—prove to her father that she is better than his sons, Parker and Hunter.

Abigael's endgame might be to resurrect Alastair who Macy vanquished at the end of the last season. Of course, we don't yet know whether it will be possible for Abigael to bring Alastair back.

We also saw Abigael kissing Harry, and though we hope that Harry isn't just doing it to forget his feelings about Macy—who he thinks prefers Dark Harry—we can't help but enjoy their chemistry. Perhaps, Harry knows what he is doing and is playing is own game to trick Abigael into revealing her plans.

'Charmed' will return with new episodes to The CW on January 17, 2020.
