'Neither wants to budge': Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan can 'barely stand' each other amid bitter split
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Love has really gone sour, leaving a bitter taste for Hollywood's former favorite couple, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. The former lovers can barely stand the sight of each other as they continue to make rounds of court for their never-ending divorce, reports Radar.
Tatum, 42, and Dewan, 41, are squabbling over money as well as the custody of their nine-year-old daughter Everly. However, as the divorce is about to be finalized, their relationship has become so bitter that the former lovebirds do not even talk to each other anymore. "These days, Channing and Jenna only speak through lawyers or intermediaries," said a source to the outlet. "It’s sad to see a couple that was once so in love have so much animosity."

The court declared an end to Tatum and Dewan’s marriage of 10 years in 2019. However, the former couple is still settling the division of assets, including how to split profits from the über-successful 'Magic Mike' franchise. While the two have agreed to joint custody of their daughter, Jenna wants additional time with Everly for her to bond with her actor fiancé, Steve Kazee’s two-year-old son Callum. Sources confirm that Channing, on the other hand, wants the child to bond with his current girlfriend Zoë Kravitz.
"They try to be civil, but you can cut the tension with a knife," reports Radar. "Neither wants to budge an inch. They’ve learned that when love turns sour, it leaves a bitter taste."
It appears that the divorce is on the verge of a wrap-up in the next couple of months, as reported by the outlet. In a recent time, the ‘Tamara’ star handed over her finances including her income and expenses to the ‘21 Jump Street’ actor. The financial report is one of the last steps before a divorce is officially concluded.
One of the major sticking points of a dispute in the annulment was Magic Mike. ‘The Lost City’ actor launched the franchise in 2012 and Dewan feels she helped it become a hit. The movies were a huge box office success. Moreover, the films turned into an HBO reality show and a live Vegas show. As per RadarOnline’s sources, Dewan offered her assistance in finding choreographers for the show while also moving overseas to take care of their daughter as Tatum worked on the project.
The ‘Step Up’ co-stars met on the set of the dance film in 2006, and eventually tied the knot in 2009. The pair announced their split via a joint statement in April 2018 with Jenna demanding joint legal and physical custody of Everly.
