'I'd wait in line to see THAT movie': Lenny Kravitz wants to star in next 'Magic Mike' movie and fans explode
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lenny Kravitz may have been joking about wanting to join Channing Tatum in the latest installment of 'Magic Mike' -- but his fans want nothing more.
The 58-year-old rocker sent fans swooning over his chiseled abs in the trailer for his upcoming film 'Shotgun Wedding'. Meanwhile, his shirtless photos drew hilarious reactions from his daughter Zoe and her boyfriend Channing. In a new interview, the 'It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over' hitmaker joked about getting his daughter's boyfriend to secure him a part in Magic Mike's 'Last Dance', the third installment of the franchise which is expected to hit theaters early next year.

"Well I figured, you know, your boyfriend might give me a job," Lenny told Entertainment Tonight of his actress daughter, whom he had with his ex Lisa Bonet, 54. He conceded that he may have "missed the boat" but was keeping his options open nonetheless. "There’s always number four," the musician quipped.
Lenny may be out of luck considering the upcoming 'Magic Mike' movie is expected to be the final part of the franchise, but his fans were thrilled by the prospect. "I nominate Lenny Kravitz to be in the next 'Magic Mike' movie. Who's with me?" one declared. "He's GORGEOUS!" another wrote. "Lenny, I'd wait in line and pay to see that movie any day! Any day!" someone else gushed. "Well, I can tell you I wouldn't mind one single bit, bring it on!" another added.
Lenny told ET how he spent Wednesday evening, October 12, celebrating the launch of his partnership with the new spirit Nocheluna Sotol, which reportedly originates from the Chihuahuan Desert in Mexico and is harvested from the Dasylirion plant. "I tasted it and I fell in love with it," he said. "I went to Chihuahua, I spent time down there with people that cultivate this plant and process it, people that have been doing it for generations with their families. ... I learned a lot. How the whole process works, how incredible this Dasylirion plant is, and how sustainable they run their operation. It was beautiful."
The Grammy winner also highlighted the importance of looking after oneself. "I eat clean. I do take care of my body - my mind, my spirit, all of it. It's all important to keep moving in this life," he said. The 'Shotgun Wedding' star also cherished filming the movie in the Dominican Republic with Jennifer Lopez, Josh Duhamel, and Jennifer Coolidge. "We were jamming, we were playing music. Saturdays we would have a film day, where we would watch one of the people that was in the movie," he recalled. "So there we are, sitting in this little movie theatre at this house with Jennifer Coolidge watching Best in Show or Cheech [Marin] watching Up in Smoke. A lot of people hadn't seen some of the other people's films, so it was really fun."

The 'American Woman' crooner also admitted he's still hungry to make more music despite having debuted in the 80s. "It's fresh, you know, I'm still hungry, I'm still motivated, I'm still inspired. And I still love going into the studio just as much as when I was in high school. The magic of what can happen, what can be created, and exposing that, you know, whatever it is that I've been going through," Lenny told ET.
"That's always exciting to do - to play new music and share it with the people, because that's why I do it," he added.
