Sandra said, "We met through drama in the principal's office at preschool. We were called in together because Everly and Laila were trying to alpha the other one out, and we prayed it was the other's child that caused the damage." Luckily, Laila and Everly get along well now, and their famous parents joked that they took these two on the movie so that they could spend some quality time together in a "Covid-safe environment."
Sandra said," That's the reason we did this film so they could have one extended, Covid-safe play date. We even bought motorbikes down there. All we cared about is that Everly and Laila were just having the time of their lives." Sandra and Channing actually met for the very first time at the actress's birthday party as she recalls by saying, "But actually, I think we met for the first time at my birthday party. You were a plus-one." At that time, the 'Magic Mike' star was just an unknown. Channing supported Sandra and said," That's right, I think that was my first week in Hollywood. You were the first celebrity person I met."
Next, Channing thanked Late Chris Huvane and said," God Bless his soul. Chris Huvane actually bought me there. I believe he was DJling at that point, he wasn't managing."
While the two joked about their past encounters, the movie they are starring in sees the actress plays a shut-in author who gets kidnapped and has a scene where she has to help Channing, who plays a romance novel cover model, peel leeches off his body.
