'Celebrity Watch Party' premiered on Fox and while the network tried to give fans a glimpse into the lives of celebrities, fans dismissed the show as boring. Some even compared it to 'The People's Couch' affirming that was better and needs to be brought back.

With the coronavirus pandemic confining us to the comfort of our own homes. To flatten the curve, everyone has been trying and practicing safe social distancing. With everyone stuck indoors, Fox decided to cash in on this via a new reality TV show titled 'Celebrity Watch Party' where they got celebrities to record themselves watching fan-favorite shows and reacting to them with their witty comments.

The series has a pretty impressive celebrity line up for this series. The first episode features celebrities like Tyra Banks and her mom, Curtis Stone, Kelly, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Raven-Symoné, Meghan Trainor, Jojo Siwa, Kym Herjavec, Rob Lowe and many more.

While there were funny moments that got everyone to giggle, some fans still couldn't find the series amusing enough and are comparing it to 'The People's Couch' that aired on Bravo. Unlike 'Celebrity Watch Party', the Bravo series followed regular people who watched and gave their remarks on popular shows.

'Celebrity Watch Party' featured clips from 'The Masked Singer' Season 3, Disneynature's 'Elephant', 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' etc. Taking to Twitter, fans, however, said the series was boring and not as good as 'The People's Couch'.

"@FOXTV #celebritywatchparty How horribly boring is this. Come on!! Maybe some reruns of The Love Boat or Fantasy Island? Time To Try Again," a fan wrote. While another added, "Also this show is boring. #CelebrityWatchParty."

"#CelebrityWatchParty sucks. Let me just watch Raiders of the Lost Ark without people cutting in on the movie, damn," a fan said. Adding to that another shared, "#CelebrityWatchParty isn’t as good as #PeoplesCouch was."

"#CelebrityWatchParty is cute but #thepeoplescouch was better," a fan shared. Another fan added saying, "@CelebWatchParty #CelebrityWatchParty This is one of the laziest shows I've seen in a while just saw my mom watching it and all it is is celebrity watching movies WTF FOX I don't give a damn about what ellen thinks about indiana jones have some originality for once."

"#CelebrityWatchParty has got to be the damn dumbest thing on TV," a fan wrote. While another said, "#CelebrityWatchParty is just a bad version of #ThePeoplesCouch."

"OK 10 minutes in #celebritywatchparty and @ThePeoplesCouch was way better!!!! @BravoTV Please bring it back!!!! @MrJulieGoldman @TheBrandyHoward @ZenoFamily," a fan shared.

'Celebrity Watch Party' airs every Thursday night only on Fox. Check your local listings for more information.
