PUBLISHED MAY 16, 2019

CBS has released first-look trailers for its new shows slated for the 2019-20 season, which includes four comedies and three dramas. The previews released offer sneak peeks into the new series scheduled for the network's mid-season and fall sessions. The dramas ordered by CBS are 'Evil' (from 'The Good Fight' creators Robert and Michelle King), Dick Wolf's 'FBI' spinoff 'FBI: Most Wanted' and 'All Rise' (formerly 'Courthouse'); and the comedies are 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (from 'Big Bang Theory' boss Chuck Lorre), 'Broke' (starring network favorite Pauley Perrette), the Patricia Heaton front-runner 'Carol's Second Act' and the single-camera entry 'The Unicorn'. Take a look at the trailers for the new shows here:

1. Bob Hearts Abishola

The trailer of this pleasant comedy allows a sneak peek into how a heart attack survivor falls in love with a Nigerian nurse. The series is written by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky, Al Higgins, and Gina Yashere and stars Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku.

2. Carol's Second Act

The trailer of this comedy promises a hilarious Fall watch from CBS, revolving around central character Carol's "unique second act" where she decides to become a doctor post-retirement. The trailer shows Carol joining as an intern at a hospital, to the amusement of everyone around. Written by Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins, and directed by Pam Fryman, the series stars Patricia Heaton, Kyle MacLachlan, Sabrina Jalees, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Ito Aghayere, and Bonnie Dennison.

3. Broke

Another comedy from CBS for the upcoming season, the series is written by Alex Herschlag and cast members are Jaime Camil, Pauley Perrette, Natasha Leggero, Izzy Diaz, and Antonio Corbo. The trailer teases chaos and humor as an outrageously wealthy trust fund baby is forced to reconnect with his estranged sister after he is cut off by his father.

4. The Unicorn

The trailer of this comedy, which is CBS' only single-camera entry for the season, promises heart and humor as a widower struggles to move on in life and raise his daughters. Written by Bill Marti and Mike Schiff, the cast includes Walton Goggins, Rob Corddry, Michaela Watkins, Omar Benson Miller, Maya Lynne Robinson, Ruby Jay, and Makenzie Moss.

5. Evil

CBS also dropped the trailer for its drama series 'Evil', written by Robert and Michelle King. The trailer teases a dark and mysterious narrative, following a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposedly supernatural incidents and cases.

6. FBI: Most Wanted

The 'FBI' spin-off's trailer depicts the Fugitive Task Force of the FBI track down Most Wanted fugitives in a thrilling investigative series. It is written by Dick Wolf, Rene Balcer and directed by Fred Berner and stars Julian McMahon, Alana de la Garza, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Kellan Lutz, Roxy Sternberg, and Nathaniel Arcand.

7. All Rise

The trailer of this courtroom drama teases Simone Missick's sassy character in the drama series that follows the lives of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks, and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles. Written by Greg Spottiswood and directed by Mike Robin, it also stars Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, Marg Helgenberger, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez, and Ruthie Ann Miles.
