Even if a global pandemic throws the world into chaos, when you're a mom, there's never a moment to slow down. So, the moms of 'Teen Mom OG' are barreling forward and making major moves.

Amber Portwood, Catelynn Baltierra, Cheyenne Floyd, Maci Bookout and Mackenzie McKee continue to share their most personal struggles and achievements leaning into the turmoil of today's "new normal" with resilience and grit. Through good and bad times, these women can always find the bright side for themselves and their kids. Before the new season of the show premieres, let’s have a look at where they are now.

Amber Portwood

Amber Portwood is pushing forward with a legal battle against her former boyfriend Andrew Glennon. On Monday, January 11, 2020, the 30-year-old ‘Teen Mom OG’ star was granted a restraining order against her ex after he allegedly refused to grant her parenting time with their two-year-old son James. While Glennon, 36, shares joint legal custody with Portwood, he was granted primary physical custody after she pleaded guilty to domestic violence in 2019 for allegedly assaulting him.

In the show, we will see Amber contemplate moving onto Gary Shirley's (Leah’s father) property after her relationship with her daughter Leah becomes strained.

Catelynn Baltierra

Last year has been exceptionally hard for ‘Teen Mom OG’ star Catelynn Lowell as she suffered another miscarriage and was presumably on a bumpy road with husband Tyler Baltierra. She took to Instagram to announce their divorce twice (once in March and December) that she later took down.

And while the preview showed just a glimpse into Catelynn's life with Tyler, MTV says the reality star will bravely share her story about pregnancy loss to help others who are watching this season. We might also find out what exactly went down between the reality star and her husband that caused their split.

Cheyenne Floyd

Cheyenne Floyd is pregnant for the second time and just in time for another season of ‘Teen Mom OG’ with boyfriend Zach Davis. She announced her pregnancy through Instagram in December 2020.

During an interview with US Weekly, Floyd, 28, talked about a possible wedding to boyfriend Zach. She said, “We’ve talked about marriage. I know we would have loved to get married this year, but with COVID and stuff [we couldn’t].” Floyd, who is already the mother of three-year-old Ryder, and was surprised when she found out she was going to have a baby boy.

Maci Bookout

‘Teen Mom’ alum Maci Bookout and husband Taylor McKinney have stirred divorce rumors since getting married in 2016, but they are still going strong.

Fans wondered if the ‘16 and Pregnant’ alum, 29, and her hubby’s marriage was on the rocks this year after the reality mom posted clickbait articles with titles like, “It’s Over” and “Here’s the Truth on My Divorce.” In addition, Taylor, 31, seemed oddly quiet on social media. Luckily, an insider told US Weekly in February “there’s no truth to these rumors whatsoever.”

The ‘Teen Mom’ star is into calligraphy now and often posts videos on Instagram where she scribbles inspirational quotes.

Mackenzie McKee

It's been a year since Mackenzie McKee's mother passed away after battling with cancer, and not a day goes by that the ‘Teen Mom OG' star doesn't miss her. In a heartbreaking Instagram tribute shared in December, 26-year-old McKee opened up about the 12 painful months that followed her mom Angie Douthit's death, admitting that she "cried more than ever" throughout the last year.

Prior to the Instagram post, the MTV star admitted that "this year was just crap" and asked for prayers from fans.

"So painful, such a blur, on and of medication to just make it through. this morning in church I was reminded that we were coming up on a year since she went to heaven. The world around me shut down for a moment and I blacked out from being so angry," said McKee. "Im ok, I cried and I wiped away my tears and went on with my day as best as I could. Idk how I made it through this year. I really don't. But I for sure will never be the same after losing you."

‘Teen Mom: OG’ Season 9 returns on January 26, Tuesday, at 8 pm ET on MTV.
