Cate Blanchett goes green at Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Tom Ford pantsuit and pink satin bow
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Green Carpet Fashion Awards honor and celebrate people who have made a positive contribution to fostering social change in the fashion and entertainment industries. Cate Blanchett made a statement with a traditional blazer suit at the event.
The Hollywood event came soon after the Paris Fashion Week. In attendance at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards on March 9, the Aussie actress did not let fans down. The 53-year-old was dressed in an odd outfit that was embellished with a big pink satin bow.

Going green at Green Awards
Cate Blanchett consistently leads the fashion race, and her most recent Tom Ford look is no exception. Underneath, Cate chose a dress shirt in a related color, and she completed the ensemble with a dark tie. The pale green outfit had a jacket and blazer that matched and had black lapels for contrast.
Cate wore a custom Valentino suit that was fashioned from deadstock material. The sage green outfit had an oversized jacket and straight-leg pants with a contrasting ribbon on them. Elizabeth Stewart, the stylist, merely added a pair of black court shoes, letting the suit speak for itself.
Who else was present?
As they attended the Green Carpet Fashion Awards on the night of March 9, Heidi Klum, Cate Blanchett, and Jodie Turner-Smith provided top-tier glitz. The annual event was held in the Neuehouse Hollywood in Los Angeles for the first time, and the fashionistas walked the red carpet there.
With high-waisted cutoff shorts and sky-high heels, legendary supermodel Klum dazzled the audience by showcasing her exceptionally toned legs. The shorts, which looked like Tommy Hilfiger's, had a lighter denim panel on the back that resembled a backward skirt and a blue star-print fabric on one leg.
The runway diva flashed her toned stomach while tucking her mini pants into her checkered crop top. Heidi was hidden from view by the unusual top's mock neck and bell sleeves. She had loose waves of her trademark sandy blonde hair cascading down her chest, and smokey brown makeup gave her a seductive look. While she worked her angles for the camera inside the celebrity-studded party, Klum seemed to be having a blast.
Besides, actor Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, posed with prominent figures in activism and sustainable fashion at the event. Leonardo looked sharp when he arrived at the awards ceremony this week and made a rare stop for photos at the Neuehouse Hollywood. He grinned with the Brazilian Minister of Indigenous Peoples, Sonia Guajajara, in the winners' room while sporting a dapper blue suit for the occasion.
