Cardi B makes Kulture's social media private after 3-yr-old faced horrifying abuse
Cardi B has made her three-year-old daughter's Instagram account private on Monday, February 7, due to cyberbullying. The American rapper and songwriter took action immediately when a fan on Twitter pointed out that Kulture's Instagram has been flooded with an overwhelming amount of hateful comments.
The 29-year-old 'WAP' hitmaker in a since-deleted tweet wrote, "Haven’t been checking my daughter account but now I’m going to lock her page." She added, "I don’t know [what the f–k] is going on but I hope y’all moms die for giving birth to you hoe ass weirdos." Cardi B created Kulture’s Instagram account in September 2020 and the page has since garnered 2.3 million Instagram followers.

The 'Be Careful' rapper had posted several adorable mommy-and-me photos with Kulture to the page including pics where the duo donned matching outfits. The screenshots obtained by the website show trolls commenting on posts of the 'Bodak Yellow' artist's daughter whom she shares with Migos member Offset. One nasty commenter wrote, "Such a mistake child." Another bully wrote, "Big head squid". Someone else commented, "Obese."
The bio of the three-year-old reveals that her account is managed by her 'mommy' and that Kulture likes 'everything pink' and is 'spoiled'. In one of the now-private Instagram posts, Kulture can be seen in her chic style as she dons a darling pink cardigan, white bow in her hair and a Louis Vuitton backpack.
After the news of Cardi B making her daughter's account private reached netizens, many commented on the need for a 3-year-old to have an instagram account. One user asked, "Why does a 3 year old need an Instagram page and if you’re going to do that why wouldn’t you think to make it private or turn the comments off when you created the account?" Another said, "I just wanna know when social media became a child’s place?". A third added, "Why does a child have an Instagram anyway? Not hating, it’s just not something you probably want to expose to a young person early with all the bullying and content online."
However not all comments were negative as one user supported the rapper's decision saying, "It’s not like her daughter runs that page it’s just to post cute pics of her child and I’m guessing when she gets older she’ll be able to use it herself. Most celebrities and people who aren’t celebrities do this with their kids. So it’s not weird." Another said, "It’s the internet you can’t stop weirdos from saying things about a child… that’s why a child shouldn’t have Instagram."

This is not the first time Cardi is dealing with a case of bullying. Recently, she was awarded $4 million in a defamation case against YouTuber Tasha K who claimed that Cardi worked as a prostitute and contracted sexually transmitted infections, something Cardi fiercely denied. After trial victory, Cardi said, "The unchecked behavior and provably false content on platforms like YouTube have to be addressed and removed." She added, "The constant harassment and lies that are reported as factual from journalists and bloggers have to end."
Cardi B and Offset also share a son, whom they welcomed in September 2021. The pair secretly got married in 2017 and briefly separated in 2020 before Cardi withdrew her divorce papers.
