Cardi B announces first post-pregnancy performance at Mala Luna 2018
Cardi previously had to cancel the last leg of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic tour, for which she was announced as a special guest.
Cardi B has announced her return to the stage for the first time since giving birth to Kulture, her baby girl with Offset, in July. It’s happening at Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio, Texas, which takes place from October 27-28.
The announcement arrives a couple of weeks after Cardi announced that she would be dropping out from the last leg of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic tour, for which she was announced as a special guest. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically,” she wrote in a tweet at the time. “I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.”
Bruno Mars responded with his own message, writing, “We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.”
Cardi will be co-headlining the Mala Luna Music Festival along with Tyler, the Creator, across Halloween weekend. The festival will also feature performances from Nicki Jam, Lil Pump, Dillon Francis, Rich the Kid, Lil Baby, BlocBoy JB, SmokePurpp, Shoreline Mafia, Rico Nasty, Tierra Whack, Wifisfuneral, Saweetie, and more. Along with the musical performances, there will be live art installations, local food vendors and merchants at the Nelson Wolff Stadium parking lot in San Antonio, Texas. Check out the full line-up via the festival's poster below.
Tickets start at $79 for general admission and go up to $399 for VIP access, and are on sale now.
