Cardi B gives birth to baby girl Kulture Kiari Cephus with husband Offset
Congratulations are in order for Cardi B and her husband Offset. The rapper gave birth to a baby girl, Kulture Kiari Cephus, late on Tuesday night at an Atlanta hospital. Offset was right by her side at the time of birth.
The Bronx-born rapper took to Instagram to share the happy news. Her note read: 'Kulture Kiari Cephus 07/10/18 @offsetyrn.' Her husband Offset's real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus. The Bodak Yellow hitmaker can be seen holding her chest as she displays her baby bump with flowers surrounding her.
This is Cardi B's first child and Offset's fourth. Offset has three children from previous relationships. Cardi B and Offset got married in secret last September and only recently opened up about the wedding.
"There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn't want to lose each other."
According to TMZ, members of Cardi B's team were telling people that she was pregnant during the super bowl weekend but the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper went to extreme lengths to keep her pregnancy a secret.
She finally revealed and confirmed the pregnancy while she was performing at SNL in April. Despite being pregnant, the 25-year-old was determined to keep working for as long as she could. She absolutely rocked at Coachella while being very pregnant at the time.
"I said I do, with no dress no make up and no ring! I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me to have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!" she continued. It looks like their family has just gotten bigger as the couple welcome a baby girl.
Rumors started on July 6 that Cardi B could possibly be in labor when she posted a video that The Blast speculated was from a hospital room given the wallpaper.
