'How far can you go for likes?' Camila Coelho slammed for posing with baby near balcony ledge
PARIS, FRANCE: An influencer came under fire after sharing pictures with her baby by the 'dangerous' edge of a Paris balcony. Camila Coelho, who is a popular influencer on Instagram, has shared pictures of her seven-month-old son, Kai, with her almost 10 million followers before. However, the 35-year-old sparked backlash when she shared a picture of herself holding her baby while perched on a French balcony staring at the Eiffel Tower.
The post which was uploaded on Instagram last month shows Coelho holding her child on her balcony at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris. Coelho is wearing a pink turtleneck, a denim skirt, and a matching pink coat, while the seven-month-old is sporting an all-gray outfit and a matching beanie. In the first picture, the young mother held her toddler with her right hand as she raised him on the balcony sill. In the second picture, Coelho can be seen holding her child in the air as he has his back toward the railing of the balcony. In the third picture, the child is being drawn in closer to his mother. “Kai’s first time in PARIS so happy to be back ... and spend my birthday ... here with him and hubby,” she captioned the post.

'Influencing at all costs'
The followers weren't pleased with the pictures as the influencer's actions posed a danger to the child. They called out Coelho for “putting [her son] in danger”. “This picture makes me so nervous!!! Don’t put the baby on the balcony please!!!” read one Instagram comment. “Ok, you’re amazing but don’t put him in danger!” wrote another follower. “You got him, but just for the sake of his life it’s not necessary to lift him up on the edge of the balcony!” Another chimed in, “Really? So dangerous just for a photo.” “When you care more about the Eiffel Tower being in the shot than your child’s safety Influencing at all costs,” another added. “How far can you go for likes? Yes, you are in Paris and yes, you have a view. No need to put a baby on the edge of a balcony,” a user wrote.
Another video was posted "in spite" of the negative feedback
Camila Coelho hasn't addressed the criticism since she posted it on Instagram on February 26. But, the mommy influencer earlier this month posted another since-removed picture with her son close to the brink of a Paris balcony, which infuriated her fans even more, as per Independent.
Coelho was seen cradling her kid and drinking tea on the French balcony in the video, which was released on her Instagram on March 4. The camera focused in on their view of the Eiffel Tower. The Instagram video's description said, "Tea break with the finest company (and view). Several people assumed the video was posted "in spite" of the negative feedback she received for her prior balcony post, and as a result, other users pledged to unfollow her.
