'Such a loser': Cole Sprouse comes under fire for apparently humiliating his ex-GF Lili Reinhart

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Cole Sprouse came under fire after he allegedly humiliated his ex Lili Reinhart in a candid interview. In a recent appearance in the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, Cole talked openly about his 2020 split from his Riverdale co-star where he stated that "'almost every one of his girlfriends" had betrayed him.

When asked about the infamous break-up the actor told the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, “It was really hard. I know we both did quite a bit of damage to each other.” Enraged fans took to Twitter and branded the 'Five Feet Apart' star a "loser" for apparently humiliating Lili on International Women's Day. Moreover, the fans harshly criticized the star for smoking all throughout the interview, which some fans claim made them get ''second-hand embarrassment."

'It was me, I left, it was time'

The Disney Channel alum told the listeners, "The clichés of dating someone you work with are very much true," while taking a long puff on his cigarette. He said: "It was really hard. We both did a lot of damage to each other. The work thing got difficult because it was hard to suspend the way we felt about each other and it didn't afford us the luxury of distance to overcome that. "We are good friends now and we work really well together. I'm grateful I got to go through it with her."

Then he went on to say that it was a 'mutual' breakup, but he then entirely changes his tone revealing "it was me, I left, it was time". He continued: 'It absolutely lasted longer because we worked together. There was a lot of pressure and I think if I had loved myself more I would have left earlier. "I felt like I had to take care for a lot of people around me. I think the complicated thing is I'm private with my relationship.  I didn't think the public needed to know about my heartbreak which created a grey area when I was pictured with other people."

'He’s the toxic one'

Twitter outpoured with hate comments, An angry user tweeted, "This guy is such a loser. Wow!" Another user wrote, "Now why would they release the call her daddy podcast on women’s day, nobody wants to hear cole sprouse blame his exes when he’s the toxic one" A fan tweeted, "nobody’s gonna take him seriously smoking on a damn podcast," another commented, "Honestly smoking is not chic, just saying," while another added, "The ick I got watching this", "He smokes and handles a cigarette like the people in college that would ask me for a cigarette and then fake inhale and/or choke on the smoke," another user sarcastically chimed in.
