As Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) tries to overcome the murky waters of his complicated new case, the CBS legal drama gives him longer than usual to reach a stable conclusion, perhaps to almost collect himself from the cons of his profession. In that, viewers might be disappointed when they tune into CBS on Monday, March 1 at 'Bull' Season 5's regular 10 pm time slot because there's no new episode airing this week. Or the weeks to follow immediately in fact. 'Bull' is going on a random three-week hiatus in the middle of Season 5, but worry not, newer episodes are still listed for days to come after that. Read on to find out why the show is not airing tonight and when it returns to CBS.

Why is there no new episode of 'Bull'?

Much like the network's other procedurals, 'Bull' Season 5 too is possibly taking time out to film newer episodes for this season. Usually, shows do that well in advance, but with Covid-19 guidelines, filming at a stretch has become a thing of the past. Apart from random hiatuses, shows also take their designated winter breaks at the end of every year, but 'Bull' is already past that. So this has to be one of those breaks shows take to stretch out a whole season throughout the span of a few months at least.

When will Season 5 Episode 10 air?

According to TV listings, 'Bull' returns with Season 5's Episode 11 some two weeks later, on March 15, at its usual 10 pm time slot only on CBS. Titled 'The Boy Who Cried Murder', in the episode, "Izzy asks Bull to petition the court to have her best friend's body exhumed when the woman's son alleges she was murdered, despite her death already ruled accidental."

What's airing this week on CBS instead?

Futon Critics reveals that instead of the upcoming Episode 11, Episode 3 from the ongoing season 5 will air on CBS on March 1, at 10 pm. Titled 'Prison Break', the episode sees Bull assist Chunk as he represents a convict from his law school's legal aid clinic, a woman accused of killing a guard while trying to escape during a prison transport. While the prosecution alleges the woman shot the guard as she tried to flee, Chunk argues that she is being falsely accused by a guard who attempted to sexually assault her during the transport.

'Bull' Season 5 airs on Mondays at 10 pm only on CBS.
