Last week, the titular 'Bull' mulled over the dilemma of his client accused of stealing his own research from the company he worked for. That wasn't all as ethics and morals came into question, making it an all-around heavy banger of an episode. Perhaps that is why 'Bull' is taking another random hiatus for its ongoing Season 5 this week. Viewers might be disappointed tonight as they tune into CBS for a fresh new episode of the legal drama. But worry not; although information might be scarce surrounding the next episode, this isn't the last of 'Bull' we get to see this year. Read on to find out why there's no new episode airing and when 'Bull' will return next to CBS.

Why is 'Bull' Season 5 Episode 9 not airing?

CBS has always been the most notorious among all TV networks for random breaks in the middle of its shows' air time and 'Bull' is surely not exempted from that. To fill the span of a few months of airing, shows often go on breaks from airing on a weekly basis to fill out its entire season with just 22-24 episodes. Also, given the pandemic, production had mostly been stalled which means no filming bulk episodes in advance, so 'Bull' is probably taking a break off air to film newer episodes.

When will 'Bull' Season 5 Episode 9 air?

According to TV listings, Episode 9 of 'Bull' Season 5, titled 'The Bad Client', will air in another short week's time on Monday, February 22, at its usual 10 pm time slot only on CBS. As of now, there's no official synopsis or teaser hinting what's coming next on the legal drama, but based on the previous Episode 8 of this season, some speculations can be made.

Michael Weatherly as Bull (CBS)

The last time we saw 'Bull', he headed "to federal court for a client accused of stealing his own scientific research from the company he works for, a corporation he says buried his ground-breaking work because selling medication is more profitable than curing diseases." On one hand, there was Benny Colon (Freddie Rodriguez)  debilitating the impact of his job on his political affiliations, but Bull himself wasn't that far away from the drama, with him debating whether he was fighting a lost case. This is expected to continue in the upcoming episode as we never quite saw the culmination of that old case and the drama surrounding Benny's dilemma. So the titular bad client will probably the same case.

'Bull' Season 5 airs on Mondays at 10 pm only on CBS.
