This article contains spoilers for 'Bull' episode 3: 'Rectify'

Like we said in our review, 'Rectify' was the second feel-good episode in a row with Benny (Freddy Rodriguez) and Christopher Jackson (Chunk Palmer) standing up for a man falsely accused of a triple homicide. The episode was received warmly by fans who took to Twitter to express their thoughts. Such was the mystery surrounding the plot that fans also had their fair share of theories.

Talking about the episode, one fan tweeted, "Great episode tonight!" and few other fans echoed the sentiment. One fan also added that this could be the beginning of some tough episodes over the next few weeks. "Whoa! Bull is going to get tough next week." the fan wrote

As far as the fan theories about the episode go, one fan was able to accurately guess that it was Maria Garcia who had committed the murder. "The pregnant woman was the intended target & the dealer was collateral damage. But of course, I can certainly be wrong! Don’t think I am, though!" said a fan.  He wasn't though as Benny successfully proved it was Maria (Karmine Alers) who had killed her pregnant sister as she suspected an affair with her husband, Isaac (Juan Carlos Diaz).

Christopher Jackson as Chunk Palmer played a key role as he sided with Benny and the duo decided that Eddie Mitchell (Malcolm Goodwin), the falsely accused was not guilty and fans were pleased with the move. The character also earned plaudits for his thorough research. "You got that right Chunk Palmer" a fan tweeted. "So right!" wrote another.

With compliments pouring in, the legal drama has ensured that three of its episodes have been warmly received by the audience. It also proved the experimental ending in the season opener was a one-off as 'Rectify' stuck to the basics and kept the intrigue till the final moment.

What are your thoughts about 'Rectify'?
