'Bulgasal: Immortal Souls': 5 things to know about Korean thriller series on Netflix
'Bulgasal: Immortal Souls' is the latest Korean thriller series set to be released on popular streaming service Netflix.
The up-and-coming series follows the story of Dan Hwal (played by Lee Jin-Wook) and Min Sang-Woon (played by Kwon Na-Ra); the former has been an immortal being for the last 600 years, while the latter changes both her name and identity after having gone through a tragedy. Sang-Woon is looking to exact revenge, as she used to be an immortal herself, but has now been reincarnated as a human.

What is 'Bulgasal' all about?
The official synopsis reads: "The story of a woman who repeats death and reincarnation as a person for 600 years and remembers her past lives and a man who cannot die because he has been an immortal for 600 years."
Who stars in the Netflix series?
Lee Jin-Wook as Dan Hwal
Lee Jin-Wook is a popular South Korean actor. Lee used to be a student at Cheongju University, studying environmental engineering, when he dropped out to follow his passion of acting. Lee initially began his acting career in the entertainment industry by modeling in commercials.
His debut acting roles were in 'General Hospital The Movie: A Thousand Days' and the South Korean film, 'Once Upon a Time in High School'. Lee starred alongside Kwon Sang-woo, Ahn Nae-sang, Joo Jin-mo, and Seo Dong-won. Today, Lee is famously known as the lead actor in the romantic series, 'Glass Castle', and 'The Time We Were Not in Love'.
He is also known for his work on 'The Three Musketeers', the time-traveling series, 'Nine: Nine Time Travels', on season 2-3 of the crime thriller series, 'Voice', a horror series called 'Sweet Home' and a guest role in the comedy film, 'Miss Granny'.
Lee had previously served a two-year mandatory military service between the years 2009 to 2011 at the Defense Media Agency of the Ministry of National Defense.
The rest of the cast includes Na-Ra as Min Sang Woon, Joon Lee as Ok Eul Tae, Gong Seung-Yeon as Dan Sol, Park Myung-shin, Jin-young Jung, and Kim Wooseok.
