BTS Jungkook enters Billboard Hot 100 with Charlie Puth's single 'Left and Right'
If there is one thing that BTS members will not stop breaking, it is records. From the time BTS members announced their break to concentrate on solo activities, a lot of negative comments stated that fans of BTS will start turning away from the boy band. Turns out fans are still here for BTS and are willing to show the world the same as they helped BTS member Jungkook land on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for his collab with Charlie Puth on the single 'Left and Right' — that to within 11 days of its release. The single was released on June 24 and since the time it dropped, Charlie Puth's 'Left and Right' has been a viral sensation.
The song features BTS' maknae Jungkook in the vocals and the music video and has become a global hit. The music video for the single has now surpassed 81 million views on YouTube while the single also ranked Number 1 on iTunes Top Song Chart in 103 countries in total making it one of the biggest collab tracks to come from any BTS member. With 'Left and Right' from Charlie and Jungkook also making it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the song's reception has been phenomenal, to say the least.

On July 6, it was reported that 'Left and Right' from BTS Jungkook and Charlie Puth had entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at Number 22. It is to be noted that the single did so in the absence of an official promotion. Despite the reorganization of the Billboard chart earlier this year, which puts the focus on streaming numbers and radio broadcasts, Jungkook's collab single was able to make it to the top of the chart. The record is now the highest performance from a Korean solo artist since Psy in 2014.

This single however is not the first solo single from BTS Jungkook to enter the Hot 100 chart as the singer's solo track 'Stay Alive' had already entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at Number 98 despite being a Korean song.
