BTS J-hope's solo debut listening party: List of all K-pop and KHH stars that attended

From V's Wooga Squad to J-hope's role model BIGBANG Taeyang and K-hip hop artists pH-1 and TigerJK, the party for 'Jack in the Box' was star-studded

Fans already knew that J-hope’s solo debut would be one of the biggest events of 2022 when it was revealed that he would be the first BTS member to release his album in ‘Chapter 2’. He had the likes of Lizzo and Jessi congratulating him on the release of his pre-released single ‘More’ while it entered the Billboard Hot 100 without any promotions. And right before the release of his first solo album ‘Jack in the Box’, J-hope graced the cover of W Korea while having the most star-studded listening party.

On July 15, J-hope made his solo debut by releasing ‘Jack in the Box’ and the lead single ‘Arson’. Just like the old-school rock music video for ‘More’, ‘Arson’ showed off the BTS star’s individual style as he wanted to share the fire and passion he wanted his first solo album to have. He goes all out for the music video in which he literally commits arson as he sings about moving forward without any fear. But before that, the HYBE building had stars of the K-pop and KHH (K-hip hop) industry attend the pre-listening party on the night of July 14.

And fans had the most hilarious of reactions as they were in awe of the grand listening party. One BTS fan joked, “Oh to be fly in the wall on the 19th floor of Hybe building... I could settle for a speck of dust too.” Another ARMY made a reaction meme, “Me in the arson party.” With member Suga nowhere to be found, fans had taken to searching for him, “This is min  yoongi guys Where is yoongi.” One fan shared, “Army  hybe 19th floor.” Another was shocked, “THE WHOLE HYBE BUILDING IS LITERALLY AT PARTY MODE FOR HOSEOK.”

One loved the multiple interactions, “Taehyung and Jungkook hyping up Jungkook's Dance Teacher Taesung, Jungkook gossiping with Taehyung's friends Wooga Squad....y'all don't understand.” With BIGBANG’s Taeyang also making a rare appearance, another said, “Taeyang too???? Hobi really got the whole industry supporting him!” An Astro fan was surprised, “woke up to Eunwoo with Jimin at JHope's listening party.” With K-pop fanfic writers always making GOT7’s Jackson the party host, one joked, “Ao3 jacksonification of jung hoseok.”

Another loved V and J-hope dancing, “Tae and hobi dancing on leave the door open.” One fan compared it to the ‘Om Shamti Om’ scene where all of the Bollywood actors made an appearance, “J-hope’s jack in the box party.” Another ARMY said, “Bts introvert line in hoseok’s party jungkook: sitting on the floor seokjin: sitting in the corner watching webtoons yoongi: nowhere to be seen they’re so real and i really respect that.”
