South Korean boyband BTS landed at the JFK Airport in New York on Monday amid heightened security.

The performers were seen in peculiar ensembles and masks as they rushed through the terminal. While one member chose an all-black ensemble with a zip-up jacket and black-and-white lace-up sneakers, another wore black leather platform boots. One singer, meanwhile, went with a pop of olive green for his trousers, paired with a light gray sweater and darker gray cardigan-style coat.

All seven group members, including Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook, are set to perform at the annual ABC's 'Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest' telecast from Times Square on Tuesday, December 31.

The K-Pop stars, who first appeared on the show in 2017 with a medley of their hits on the West Coast, are set to take center stage right after 10:30 pm for an eight-minute set.

Intensifying the excitement ahead of their performance, cohost Seacrest told Variety that the show's producers aren't sure about what may happen. “We don’t even know what to expect in Times Square with all the people because when they show up, all of their fans show up, so half of Times Square could be BTS fans.”

With three top-selling albums in 2019, BTS grabbed the limelight and gained mainstream success in the US. They even became the first group since the Beatles to score three No. 1 albums in a year on the Billboard Top 200 charts.

The group recently wrapped up their Love Yourself tour which kicked off in 2017.

The New York performance will be headlined by Post Malone who will be joined by Sam Hunt, Alanis Morisette and the cast of the Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill.

The performances on the West Coast include Paula Abdul, Kelsea Ballerini, Blanco Brown, Dan + Shay, Green Day, Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Megan Thee Stallion, Anthony Ramos, Salt-N-Pepa, and SHAED.

The show will begin at 8 pm and will continue way past midnight till 2:13 am.
