An annual tradition since 1972, 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020' will ring in the New Year worldwide with host Ryan Seacrest. Big-time musicians will perform live in New York City as everyone waits for the acclaimed Times square ball drop.

The New Year's Eve special will air on ABC on December 31, 2019.

Said to be the #1 music special of 2019, this year's special will mark the 48th anniversary of America's largest New Year's Eve celebration, with five and a half hours of performances and interviews across four cities in three-time zones across the U.S.

Ryan Seacrest will host the countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City, with live onsite reporting from actress and co-host Lucy Hale. Host Ciara will bring in the New Year from the West Coast at the Hollywood Party, and actor Billy Porter will host the celebration, live from New Orleans.

The special is produced by Dick Clark productions with Ryan Seacrest, Barry Adelman and Mark Bracco serving as executive producers and Larry Klein serving as producer.
