While Jon Batiste bagged ‘Album of the Year’ award at the 64th Grammys, Bruno Mars led group Silk Sonic managed to win in every category they were nominated. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the coveted award ceremony took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, 2022. The fans of Bruno Mars sarcastically dubbed him a Grammy darling after he along with Anderson .Paak won four Grammys for their group Silk Sonic.

Silk Sonic took home the big award of ‘Record of the Year’ for their hit single ‘Leave the Door Open’ along with ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Best R&B Song’ as well as ‘Best R&B Performance’. A majority of social media users, however, felt Bruno Mars paid for all the awards dubbing the award ceremony as rigged. Olivia Rodrigo, who scored seven nods at the 64th Grammys, managed to sweep three including the Best New Artist.
