Brooke Shields, 56, shines with daughter Rowan at White House Correspondents brunch and dinner

Brooke later put on a stunning show at the White House Correspondents Dinner at the Washington Hilton, wearing a gold ruched evening gown with long sleeves and a deep V neckline. The 6 feet model wore black flats and kept her jewelry simple, with dangling earrings and a huge bejeweled ring on each hand. Rowan styled her hair in loose waves and donned a long black slip dress with bright pink shoes to the event. She is a Wake Forest University student in North Carolina.
Since 1920, the White House Correspondents Dinner has been a DC tradition. It's an evening when political reporters, celebrities, and politicians, even the president, get together to roast each other and politicians. Other notable visitors were Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, Amelia Hamlin, Harry Hamlin, model Miranda Kerr, and philanthropist Melinda Gates.
Due to the pandemic, Saturday's assembly was the first in 2019 and the first in which the president has participated since 2016. Donald Trump boycotted the event during his administration. President Joe Biden, 79, only attended the speaking portion of the event due to worries about Covid-19.
