Britney Spears is getting fans hyped as her mostly unheard song hits the US for the first time. Titled, 'Mood Ring', the rare track was previously released only in Japan as a bonus track on her 2016 studio album 'Glory'. Listen to it below.

Spears also recently changed the 'Glory' cover art, shared on her Instagram, in celebration of its No. 1 earning on the iTunes Charts, which came as part of the #JusticeForGlory campaign.

“You asked for a new Glory cover and since it went to number one we had to make it happen !!!! Couldn’t have done it without you all!!!!” she wrote in the caption.

'My love is a mood ring, Up and down emotions, all these mood swings, you know how to read the touch of my skin, Nothing on my body but this mood ring, You change me,' she sings in a harmony of her own voice in an electropop-kissed slow jam. In typical Britney Spears fashion, the song hits the sweet spot on our ears.

Earlier this month the iconic pop singer's younger sister, Jamie Lynn shared with The Hollywood Reporter about her sister's potential new releases. When asked about Spears's retirement, she made it clear, saying, "No, no, no. Obviously, right now, she’s just trying to quarantine."

She explained, "She’s taking it day by day. And when she wants to make music, she’ll make it. I don’t think you can ever retire someone from their passion." However, she said "I don't think so" when she was asked if her sister had plans for new music. Lynn told them that Spears is “kind of just relaxing.” “And I think that’s good. Britney deserves that. She’s worked her ass off. So if she wants to make another album, great. But if she doesn’t feel like it, she doesn’t have to. She’s given the world a lot. I don’t think there are plans for anything — at the moment," she added.

Britney Spears recently took the crown on Rolling Stone's list of greatest debut singles of all time for her smash 'Baby One More Time', which released in 1998. The star acknowledged the distinction when she thanked the publication in a tweet. "Number ONE [SCREAMING FACE EMOJI] ??!!?? Thank you @RollingStone ... what an honor [KISSING EMOJIS] !!!!!" she wrote.
