While a lot is happening in the 'House of the Dragon', not many subscribers of HBO Max were pleased with the much-anticipated prequel of the hit blockbuster 'Game of Thrones'. The streamer took to Twitter to release a fun Q&A between Matt Smith and Milly Alcock  — two of the biggest stars on the show. What was supposed to be a video that would show the fans the chemistry and help them know lesser know details about their stars, ended up being slammed by fans.

This comes on the heels of the streamer pulling some of the shows in light of the pending merger with Discovery+. As per Variety, close to 36 titles were done away with. "As we work toward bringing our content catalogs together under one platform, we will be making changes to the content offering available on both HBO Max and discovery+," HBO Max’s statement read, adding, "That will include the removal of some content from both platforms." This irked subscribers who had bought a plan to watch their favorite shows.

"Who cares. What's happening to infinity train, mao mao, summer camp island, and all the other shows u deleted to save tax money?" one of the comments read. This was seconded by another who wrote, "Why did you remove entire series of popular cartoons from your service? Why did you remove 200 episodes of Seasme street!? Why should people stay subscribed to a service that doesn't care about its viewers or their kids!? #FireDavidZaslav". The outrage went on. "Once again literally no one cares. Bring back your animation please or at least let it stream somewhere else as yours slowly degrades."

"I’m gonna separate from the pack here and say how gitty I am for House of the Dragon tomorrow!!!" another wrote. "You're plugging all these other shows, but all people care about is that lack of communication and transparency regarding this merger. You're creating lost media with these animated shows you're erasing and they don't deserve that treatment. RELEASE. A. STATEMENT," another fan said. "No one cares about this s**t. Not when you’re erasing animated art and screwing over creators just to save a buck," one of the tweets read.
