'Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love': KeeKee yells at Kareem for 'chasing' her mom, fans call her childish
'Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love' stars Kiandria 'KeeKee' Demone and Kareem Allen are in love but like every relationship, their's too is going through a testing phase. In tonight's episode, the couple even got into a loud argument over Kareem going on a date with KeeKee's mother Marveline.
Post the family dinner, Pastor Calvin Roberson called on the couples to understand where they were in their process and later asked to describe their dream date. KeeKee said she and Kareem would like to go on a dinner and have a private chef cook for them. In a nutshell, spend a night of luxury together. But it wasn't going to be that simple.
Calvin turned the date on its head by saying Kareem would go on their dream date only with Marveline. That bothered KeeKee, who then picked a fight with Kareem. She said she was really unhappy and had all of these feelings bottled up because Kareem was so focused on getting Marveline's approval that he forgot to acknowledge her feelings. "You are chasing my mom and ignoring me," she said.
The process requires couples to seek their parents' approval for marriage, which was exactly what Kareem has been working on. Therefore, it would be a bit harsh if he was being pulled up for doing exactly what he signed up for. It gets tougher for Kareem because he also has his mother Tia to convince. She thinks he is too young to take on a huge responsibility like marriage.
Later, Kareem and Marveline went on the said date and were able to look at things from a different perspective. Even though she didn't green-light their marriage, she was able to see the Kareem KeeKee sees in him.
After he got home and discussed how their date went, KeeKee acknowledged how Kareem was closer to Marveline now but it didn't have to cost them their dream date to get there.
Meanwhile, fans think KeeKee is picking on Kareem more than needed despite him putting in his best efforts.
"Keke is doing way too f***ing much. That guy is too nice for her #PrideandPrejudice #brideandprejudice," a fan shared, while another wrote: "Kee Kee is upset about the date. The whole point of coming on the show was to get their parents' approval so I don't buy the whole 'running after my mama' gaffe. Cause that's the point of the show. And they knew this. Just say you're mad about the date. #BrideandPrejudice."
