'Southern Charm': Are Kathryn Dennis and Danni Baird still friends? Duo indulge in bitter blame game
Danni Baird was in for a rude shock when Leva Bonaparte revealed that Kathryn Dennis had been reaching out to her during the pandemic. It seemed she was more hurt than angry over the fact that Kathryn chose someone else over her. In her confessional, she shared how she has been there for her and by her side every time she needed her and to suddenly bail on her like that was a bitter pill to swallow.
However, once she gathered herself and agreed to go out on lunch with Leva Bonaparte and some of her friends, she realized how wrong Kathryn has been all along. Especially, with regard to her comment on the John C Calhoun statue being taken down. Kathryn told she didn't care much for her ancestor's monument because it was ugly. Everyone at the table was taken aback because Calhoun supported slavery and that didn't seem amiss to Kathryn.
As the conversation grew intense and the ladies voiced their opinion on racism, Danni changed the tone with her sob story about Kathryn and how she reached out to Leva and not her. It was not hard to see that she was visibly upset. At this point, it would be weird if Kathryn and Danni didn't have a fight.
In this week's episode of 'Southern Charm' the friends took potshots while unloading all sorts of blames on each other. While Kathryn seems unhappy that Danni is always blaming her, the latter was upset that Kathryn is addressing her as "ya'll" (possibly hinting at her new group friends, which is led by Leva). Kathryn leaves Danni's house feeling sour.
So, have they continued their friendship off the show? Looks like they were able to iron out their differences. Danni posted a picture of them hanging out with a caption that read: "We go together like Pimento Cheese. @kathryndennis." The picture sparked a string of comments by fans who were happy to see them all patched up and friends again.
