Hope and her family had been living a normal life until a motorcycle accident damaged her face. Appearing on the latest episode (August 10) of the show, Hope recalled how she loved to ride a motorcycle and did not hesitate to get on one whenever she felt like it. However, after an incident that wrecked her face, things have changed emotionally and physically for her.

Hope came on the show with her two daughters who got a chance to open up about the emotions they went through at the time of the incident. Her daughter was present with Hope at the time of the accident but on another bike. When the accident took place, her daughters were 10 and 14 years old. Recalling the accident Hope said, "My leg was trapped so my upper body came over and I face-planted the I-beam behind the guard rail."

While the incident was traumatic for both Hope and her family, Dr Terry Dubrow thought that she was lucky as the accident took place outside a paramedic's house who was able to come and save her. Her daughter recalled that the paramedic came to rescue her mother after he said he heard a little girl scream. "And he had her all ready before (the) ambulance even got there," she recalled. Hearing this, Dr Dubrow said, "The unluckiest day in her life was also, weirdly, one of the luckiest." Meanwhile, Dr Paul Nassif was curious to know how many surgeries Hope has had after the accident.

Hope revealed that she underwent seven surgeries and had to rely on a feeding tube for food for an entire year. Dr Dubrow then asked her what would be the one or two things she would like to change and Hope was quick to respond that it would be her eyes. "I don't have two of the same eye," she said. "They did do nose surgery. Just the scar tissue on the right side is just... (there's) a lot of scar tissue in there. Like, if I had to rely on it to breathe, I'd suffocate," she continued. Dr Dubrow and Dr Nassif then asked Hope's daughters how they reacted on seeing Hope after the accident.

Her daughter revealed she did not remember anything from that time and hinted that she had blacked out that entire accident. Hearing this broke Hope's heart as she said, "I feel like what happened to me is nothing (compared to) what happened to them emotionally. I feel like they're always gonna carry that."

Dr Nassif promised Hope to make things better for her. Once in the surgery, he brought in other doctors to make sure Hope gets the best treatment. He started by removing bulk tissues and the plates from the face that were not needed anymore. The plates were put in place to give her face a better structure.

But with her face healed, Dr Nassif was sure she did not need it anymore and decided to remove them. Then, another doctor worked on Hope's eyes that she thought were uneven. They increased the upper eyelid to make sure that both the eyes are of the same size. Dr Nassif then started working on the scars on her face and made sure he moved the limb to a position that would give her face a better structure.

After spending hours in the surgery room, Dr Nassif was happy with the results.  He admitted that Hope's face would not be able to go back to how it was before the surgery but assured that it would be better. Once Hope saw her face after the surgery, she felt pleased and was emotional with the change.

'Botched' airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on E!
