'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm': Who all feature in Sacha Baron Cohen's film? Here are all the scandalous responses
Amazon Studios is all set to release the sequel of 2006 film 'Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan'. Titled 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm', the sequel stars Sacha Baron Cohen in the title role once again and will premiere on Friday, October 23, 2020, on Amazon Prime. But did you know the biggest catch about the film? Well, we do. The film was "secretly" shot by Cohen, for which he even "disguised" multiple times, and one time, in the film, he even disguised as President Donald Trump.
The sequel was the first movie that was being shot during the Covid-19 shutdown, but Cohen really wanted to complete the film on time so that it could be released before the election day. The prequel of the movie was a big success and grossed $262 million worldwide. Most of the people in the film are not actors and are general public, and had no idea that they were being shot for a movie. Cohen isn't recognized by these people because most of the time while visiting the places, he disguised himself as he mentions in the film, "people know me". While Cohen made some really "controversial comments" in the film, these people had some really shocking natural responses.
The delivery guy
The first one was the delivery man who delivered Tutar Sagdiyev, in a wood box to Cohen, but as he was expecting the box to have "Johnny the monkey" whom he wanted to gift to Mike Pence, Cohen gets disappointed and asks the delivery man to pack her back in the wood box. The delivery person cluelessly, helped Cohen to pick his daughter which was surely a huge bummer.
Brian, the tech guy
Soon, after arriving in the US, Cohen meets Brian, who again wasn't aware of the film being shot. When Cohen arrives at the store and asks him to get a device, Brian politely shows him an iPhone and tells him about the features of the phone, but soon Cohen takes the phone in the washroom and browses porn (while it was mirrored with the TV), to which Brian rolls his eyes but maintains his calm. Towards the end of the film, Cohen refers to him as the "American Minister of Technology".
Hardware store guy
This was one of the most shocking one, here Cohen told the hardware store owner that he wishes to buy a cage for his daughter, the guy pauses for a second and without questioning anything further, agrees and shows him one, to which Cohen questions, "How many girls can fit in this cage?" to which he replies saying, "One", to which Cohen replies, "But I hear, Donald Trump cages Mexican girls," after which, the two high-fived. Later, he goes inside ank points out at a gas can and asks, "Can I kill 20 gypsies with this can?" to which the owner replies saying, "You need a bigger one for that."
Macey Chanel (Instagram influencer)
On a hunt to impress Pence and Trump, Cohen takes his daughter to Chanel who hugs her and gives her advice on being a good sugar baby. When Tutar asks her, "You are a sugar baby?" to which she replies saying, "Yes, I am." She even advises Tutar Sagdivey, Cohen's daughter in the film, to be "weak" and "submissive" in order to lure old age men.
Pastor Jonathan Bright
The father-daughter duo then goes to a cupcake shop where Cohen buys a cupcake for her daughter but denies giving it to her in public as she was a girl child and treating her good in public was a shame. So he takes her near the dumpsters where she eats the cupcake and accidentally swallows the decorative plastic baby on the cupcake. After this, both of them visits Crisis Pregnancy Centre where Tutar tells the doctor, "I have a baby inside me and I want to get it out of me." The pastor replies, "No we cannot take the baby out, we don't do that."
The innocent pastor who had no idea about the fact that they were talking about a "plastic baby" lectures them on abortion and says, it is a "natural, breathing life inside you". Later, Cohen says, "I feel bad because I was the one who put the baby in her." He further says, "I was just trying to give her pleasure (by cupcake)." After hearing the shocking statements, the pastor looked at the duo for some time and even stops Cohen from going into detail by saying, "I do not want to hear the details." But Cohen keeps on saying that, "I didn't want to do it, so I gave her the pleasure behind the dumpsters, so no one can see." The pastor very calmly replied, "God doesn't make mistakes."
Cosmetic surgery centre doctor
Rudy Giuliani like women with "big boobs" and Tutar wants Rudy to like her. So Cohen goes to a plastic surgery doctor with Tutar, and she tells the doctor that she wants men to want to have sex with her. She even questions the doctor if he would have sex with her? To which he softly smiles and replied, "If your father was not here."
The babysitter: Our favorite
The unnamed babysitter in the film who is introduced to Tutar by Cohen goes in full shock for a moment after he tells her, "Here are her leashes, give her a treat when she listens to you." Soon after he leaves, the babysitter reads a storybook that Tutar had. While reading the book, she goes in full shock as it reads that vagina has teeth and a bloody deed can happen if a woman tries to touch herself down there. The shocked babysitter explains that this isn't true and this is not how it works, to validate it, she even tells her, "Yes! even I have touched mine." Tutar who believed that women can't drive and if they do, it can lead to an accident came in shock after she saw her babysitter driving perfectly. Even though we saw so many people in the film with absurd or no reaction to the shocking statements, the babysitter gave a piece of excellent advice to Tutar. She explained to her that she doesn't need plastic surgery and is very pretty the way she is.
Jim and Jerry
When Cohen doesn't have a place to stay, he asks for help from a man he finds outside a liquor store. The man takes him to his house where he lives with his friend Jerry. The two friends who seem to be very very Republican by heart, tell Cohen that "Hillary Clinton drinks children blood." He even writes a scandalous song about former US president Barack Obama and wishes that he ends up in jail. Jim and Jerry drive Cohen to a Trump event where he even sings the hateful song.
