'Bob Hearts Abishola' Season 2: When will Episode 6 air and will Abishola's husband make an appearance?
The fifth episode of the second season of 'Bob Hearts Abishola' focused on the relationship between Bob Wheeler (Billy Gardell) and Dele Adebambo (Travis Wolfe Jr.) as Bob gets ready to get closer to his future stepson. Dele is suspicious at first -- his mother, Abishola Adebambo (Folake Olowofoyeku) had told Bob not to "buddy" up to Dele and is surprised to learn that Bob was rewarded as a child every time he did well. Later, Bob even gives away some of the things he owns to Dele in order to declutter, but also to curry favor with the boy.
Unfortunately, Abishola is not happy that Bob has given Dele so many things, including records, and a second monitor. There is also a massage belt that Dele has kept aside for Abishola, which she is reluctant to like.
Abishola then ends up returning everything to Bob, telling him that her son does not need any of his garbage, pointing to Bob's brother and sister to show that is how Dele might end up if he is spoiled. Bob then takes offense that Abishola pointed out at how much easier his life is. When Bob's mother later tells Abishola that Bob has had it more difficult than she knows, Bob and Abishola make up.
Now, fans would have seen at the end that the next episode of 'Bob Hearts Abishola' will not air until January 2021. The CBS sitcom from Chuck Lorre is going on its winter break. While it may have felt that 'Bob Hearts Abishola' just returned because of a delayed fall season due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, quite a bit has aired this season.
While we have a return for the next episode, the details on when it will be about are scarce. What we do know is that we can expect Abishola's elusive husband -- whom she is separated from -- might make an appearance. This could create some issues for Bob, who has never met the man before like us. Will her husband now fight for Abishola and create issues for Bob and Abishola to move forward?
'Bob Hearts Abishola' will return with new episodes to CBS on Monday, January 4, 2021, at 8:30 PM ET.
