'Bob Hearts Abishola' Episode 13: Why is there no new episode this week? When will the show air next?
Fans tuning into CBS tonight will be disappointed to learn that there is no new episode of 'Bob Hearts Abishola' this week. In last week's episode, Bob's (Billy Gardell) mother, Dottie (Christine Ebersole) almost got along really well with Abishola's (Folake Olowofoyeku) aunt Olu (Shola Adewusi) and Uncle Tunde (Barry Shabaka Henley).
However, Dottie's mention of a prenup and keeping their sock business within the family angered Olu and Tunde, who argued that Abishola will, inevitably, on marrying Bob become part of the family. The clubhouse lunch ended with Olu and Tunde dumping a wheelchair-bound Dottie in front of Bob's house and then speeding off -- just as Bob and Abishola were talking about how nice it was that their closed ones were getting along.
We have seen Bob socializing with Abishola's son, Dele (Travis Wolfe Jr.). Dele wants to be an artist, however, Abishola wants him to be a doctor. In the next episode, Bob will be giving Abishola some unsolicited parenting advice when she confides in him about Dele being unhappy. This is bound to get ugly, but viewers will have to wait another week before they see the episode.
Though 'Bob Hearts Abishola' just got back from its winter break last week, the show is going on a one-week hiatus, presumably to space out the episodes.The next episode will air on January 20 on CBS. In the meantime, fans are understandably disappointed with the lack of a new episode this week, with one writing, "Realized tonight isn't a new episode after all and I want to cry gonna be a long wait till next Monday #bobheartsabishola."
However, Bob and Abishola won't be completely absent from the viewers' lives. CBS will be airing a rerun of a previously-aired episode of 'Bob Hearts Abishola'.
