What is 'Youth With You'?
For those needing an introduction, 'Youth With You' is a Chinese girl group elimination reality show, meaning Lisa is likely to travel to China if Season 3 is not going virtual amid the pandemic. The series premiered on March 12, 2020, through the iQiyi video platform.
Lisa is one of the continual mentors on the show (alongside Jony J and Ella Chen) which is presented by Cai Xukun. 'Youth With You' introduces 109 female trainees from several companies, who are voted on by viewers. The top trainees (usually consisting of nine) who garner the most votes in the season finale get to debut in a girl group - although some fans are speculating this season will bring in boys for a boy group. The Chinese girl group THE9 was the chosen group for a previous season. Aspiring young girls who can sing and dance well will move towards the final debut through a four-month training and stage competition.
Lisa has been recognized as both a visually stunning member of Blackpink with an amazing set of dance skills and stage presence to match. Some fans have also affectionately noted her "strict" stance toward trainees, which is exactly what they will need if they're entering the highly competitive and demanding career of music.
