Blackpink's 'Lovesick Girls' features David Guetta as co-producer and fans are expecting 'Titanium' vibes

The popular K-pop band took to their official Instagram account to share the details of their first full-length album and fans instantly spotted David Guetta in the credits

The South Korean all-girl squad Blackpink has finally announced their first full-length project titled ‘The Album'. The popular K-pop band took to their official Instagram account to share the details with their fans.  

In the official poster, the girls can be seen sharing warm side hugs exhibiting the bond, the love, the friendship and care they have for each other. The name of the album is right at the top in bold pink letters. The Instagram poster also spills the details on the release date, which is October 2, 2020, along with the final songs that have made it to the album.

This is how the tracklist of Blackpink’s ‘The Album’ looks like:

‘How You Like That’
‘Ice Cream’ featuring Selena Gomez
‘Bet U Wanna’ featuring Cardi B

Interestingly, the song ‘Lovesick Girls’, which is already getting a lot of attention from the fans, features one of the production credits from the renowned French DJ David Guetta. The moment Blackpink fans noticed this, they went berserk on Twitter. One user said, "I just know David Guetta produced iconic songs like Titanium and One Last time, and I know that Lovesick Girls will be a f***in bop." One said, "What if lovesick girls has titanium vibes." One fan stated, "I love how blackpink burned their haters down by slamming their album’s tracklist that has selena gomez, ariana grande, cardi b & david guetta. These haters could never.”

Another user got excited about all the features on the new album and added, "I'm sorry But Blackpink Album contains Ariana grande, Selena Gomez, Cardi B and David Guetta touch Is ON ANOTHER LEVEL !!! This is Awesome!! Totally Awesome!!” One user said, "seeing David Guetta’s name on a Blackpink title track is still so surprising and unexpected." Talking about the process of their new album, Rose, the member of Blackpink spilled the beans to Billboard in September. She said, “I think it's made us more focused into completing the album and making it the best thing we can give to our fans, and perfecting it and everything. And so, I feel like this album could get a lot of light and energy to everybody being stuck at home not knowing what to do hopefully this can cheer them up.”
