SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: On September 5, while fans were enjoying the appearance of BTS' V aka Kim Taehyung at an exhibition with actor Park Bogum, eagle-eyed fans noticed something about his outfit. V was wearing a cap that he got from a golfing club during his time in USA. But what surprised many was that it is allegedly the same cap that Blackpink's Jennie is seen wearing in her photo in front of the Statue of Liberty in New York. This alleged exclusive couple item has many fans sure that Jennie and V are dating.

Blackpink's Jennie and BTS' V are currently embroiled in a dating rumor after several photos popped up of the alleged couple. While four of the photos were confirmed to be edited by the hacker themselves, there are other photos for which fans have not found any explanation. The latest hacker seems to have leaked photos of V from Jennie's iCloud. This constant invasion of privacy has led to fans of BTS and Blackpink uniting to demand protection for the idols.

BTS fans noticed that V was wearing a white and green mesh cap with a metal buckle with Liberty National Golf Club written on it. The club happens to be in New Jersey, the same state Blackpink had flown to for the MTV VMAs 2022. During that time V was in New York for his Vogue photoshoot. Fans think Blackpink went to New York as well as the hacker leaked a photo of Jennie and Rose in front of the Liberty Statue. And in the photo, Jennie is seen wearing a white mesh cap with a metal buckle. With the cap being exclusive to a golf club, many think that the two went there together or that she borrowed V's cap for the photo since it looks big on her.

Knetizens have also started noticing similar couple items, which now feels more than a coincidence. Both Jennie and V had the same black sunglasses when they came back from New York and were seen wearing Foundrae's 'Personalized Oversized Love Token' necklace. In the last few days, there have been other matching items like the Chanel Coco Crush ear cuffs. Knetz left comments like, "They are crazy about couple items so what's new?" Another user shared, "We know they’re dating and they know we know they’re dating…. can we all move on now pls." Another said, "Right like unless they walk the red carpet together or get married, I’m done hearing about it."

One user explained why some fans were hating on the two idols, "The fans see themselves as their girlfriends and not only fans hence the deceiving." Another commented, "Right after i saw jennie using the small black bag she used in one of the leaked photos in nyc, right after all the mess, i know for sure they don't really don't give a shit that people know they are dating. it's funny seeing fans lose their minds trying to prove photos are fake, the couple things don't match when most probably taennie themselves don't really care that the public know now LMAOOO." However, some fans think having the same hat is a reach, as one tweeted, "Remember guys, when you wear a white cap then you are dating THE KIM TAEHYUNG." Another wrote, "So u mean The Kim Taehyung who took stand for his family & friends, sued the youtuber for spreading false rumors about him & J/oana, will be ded silent over release of "so called private pics of him & his gf"??? HE IS SILENT BC THISE PICS ARE FAKE & THAT GIRL IS NOT HIS GF." One wrote, "And when i tell yall there’s other versions of this same hat then what 😮‍💨theres no way to know if its the same unless we get a clearer pic of jennie but go off i guess."
