BIGBANG's G-Dragon likes fanedit of him and Blackpink's Jennie, fans joke 'he's lurking'
Stan Twitter seems to consist of fans as well as idols as some idols seem to know all about their fandom’s inside jokes. We have had K-pop idols like GOT7’s Bambam and JayB, Ateez’s Seonghwa and Mingi and more lurking on fans’ posts while recently ARMY Twitter broke after BTS’ J-hope interacted with Lizzo in stan lingo. And the same goes for BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, who surprised everyone by liking a fanedit of him and Blackpink’s Jennie.
In early 2021, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and his labelmate Blackpink’s Jennie were linked together as dating rumors cropped up. It got messy in May 2022 when more rumors were created that claimed they had broken up, Jennie was dating BTS’ V and G-Dragon was taking out his anger on his personal Instagram. Fans found the whole thing ridiculous and it seems he did too as he has now taken to liking a video edit that ships him and the Blackpink star. This is not the first time that the BIGBANG idol has noticed ship edits as he had also previously liked posts of him with long-time collaborators IU and 2NE1’s Dara.

While BIGBANG fans know of G-Dragon’s habit of liking posts he is tagged in, some found the interaction awkward. Knetizens made comments like, “Seriously, why is GD like that?” Another user observed, “Just imagine Jennie or V doing this.. They would've been plastered in the news, on YouTube rumor channels and would've been hated on every community website. GD sure has a comfortable life.” Another user posted, “Absolutely ridiculous and just too grown to act like that.” One fan added, “Jennie I'm serious about that restraining order.” Another wrote, “He's a grownup man but do childish act. he's so weird. Just stay away from our pinks and other idols. act your age baby.”

He literally doesn't check the contents. As someone posted below, he liked a shipping video with Dara too.” Another said, “Are you five? it’s a video that includes gd and jennie and that’s all it is. Nothing more. Why does he need to feel uncomfortable liking posts because of you? He’s liking fans posts abt him until this moment so cry about it all you want he’s doing what he wants to do. Get a life.” A user wondered, “It seems that he likes whatever his fans tag him in, which is incredibly stupid. There are other ways to show love/interact with your fans.”
