BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F', the fourth installment in the Eddie Murphy starrer action comedy franchise, offers a comical ride in a run time of 115 minutes.

The film centers on Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy), who returns to Beverly Hills after his estranged daughter's life is threatened for taking up the case of Samuel Enriquez, a young man accused of killing an undercover cop.

While Jane is motivated to prove Samuel's innocence in court, Axel wants to solve the mystery and ensure his daughter's safety.

As Axel inches closer to solving the case, Captain Cade Grant (Kevin Bacon) frames him and Detective Sam Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) in a drug case.

Cade is a bad cop who isn't happy with his paycheck and joins the drug business. He uses his team of dirty cops to protect the cartel who in return are forced to give him a big share of their profits.

Fortunately, Axel manages to free himself using his street tricks and the cop duo escapes the police station in a helicopter.

Meanwhile, Cade kidnaps Jane Saunders (Taylour Paige) and asks Axel to return his shipment of drugs and the SD card that contains footage of Copeland's car.

Axel rushes to the mansion where Jane is held captive while seeking police backup through unconventional ways.

Axel confronts Cade and points his gun towards him. However, when Cade tries to kill Jane, Axel steps in between and takes the bullet in his shoulder.

Detective Abbott arrives just in time and shoots Cade in the head.
