Lil Nas X dons daring outfit at BET Awards 2021, dubbed ‘outlandish red carpet look’

Lil Nas X surely knows how to raise eyebrows when it comes to fashion and he did the same when he landed on the red carpet of the 21st edition of the BET Awards on Sunday, June 27. Making a daring appearance at the coveted award show, the ‘Montero’ hitmaker pulled off an all-white printed feminine dress and soon got the social media talking.

After turning heads with his off-shoulder outfit, the 22-year-old rapper then made another red carpet appearance with a quick dress change opting for a subtle all-white formal attire this time. Out of all the rappers who appeared on the red carpet, looks like it was only Lil Nas X who donned a stunning avatar as a majority of them were seen rocking casual outfits. We saw rappers like DaBaby and Lil Baby making an early entry at the show. The latest edition of the BET Awards is being hosted by Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P Henson.

Lil Nas X stuns in daring outfit at BET Awards 2021

Lil Nas X took to Twitter and Instagram accounts to share his latest red carpet look from BET Awards. While sharing his stunning pictures on Twitter, he captioned the post as, “Get into it yuh” whereas, on Instagram, he wrapped up his feelings in one word saying- “Doll.”

The multiple Grammy-winning rapper has been part of a lot of controversies this year. Sparking outrage, Lil Nas X was slammed when he was seen giving a sensuous lap dance to Satan along with riding a pole down to hell in the music video of ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)'. The Georgia native also made news when he announced his customized Nike “Satan Shoes” in collaboration with clothing brand MSCHF which led to a whole new controversy. The new shoes reportedly contained 6ccs of red ink and one drop of human blood in its sole.



 



 



 

‘Lil Nas X eating everyone up’, says Twitter

As soon as Lil Nas X landed on the red carpet of BET Awards 2021, a lot of social media users rushed to Twitter to express their valuable opinion on the same. While a few slammed the rapper for acting gay, others praised him for his look. One user stated, “Lil Nas X is the only man bringing style these days. Everyone else is in a black suit.” One posted, “Congratulations to lil nas x, the first person ever to wear clothes.”
 
Another trolled him and asked, “Why is Lil Nas X in my grandmother’s good tablecloth? Really what’s going on?” One furious user shared, “Stop being gay or I unfollow.” However, another individual praised the singer-songwriter and tweeted, “Lil Nas X eating everyone up!!! He looks tf good!.” One noted, “Outside of Lil Nas X, did anyone try with their outfits? Was the theme “just put on whatever is laying on your closest floor.” Another user chimed in and asserted, “This is literally the perfect outlandish red carpet look for him I’m screaming!!!” One user said, “He don't understand the assignment because HE IS THE ASSIGNMENT”, whereas, another concluded, “Like i knew lil nas x would eat everybody up but i didn’t realize it would be by this much.”
