In a recent appearance with the Spanish radio station La Cadena SER, Affleck dazzled his audience by speaking impeccable Spanish, inspiring them to name him "Benito," reports the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, his singer-wife Jennifer Lopez revealed she has a 'playful and carefree' alter ego, named Lola Lopez while launching her low-calorie alcohol brand 'Delola.' The 53-year-old actress and singer also expressed her desire for Lola to enjoy herself and explore the outdoors more.

'Ben is now Benito!'

The 'Argo' star learned Spanish when he was only 13 and spent a year filming in Mexico. On the Kelly Clarkson show in 2020, he said, "I speak it passively. I did this little kids TV series when I was young and when I was 13, the season that year was (shot) in Mexico, so I was in Mexico for a year and that's how I picked it up." Affleck was heard speaking in Spanish about the reason Michael Jordan is absent from the movie 'Air' in the network-posted clip.

Although Michael Jordan is the main character and is at the center of the story, as per People, Affleck stated in the interview that "there is no actor in the world that the audience would believe" to be the 60-year-old NBA icon. They would snark and say, "All this is bulls---," he said. And entirely ruin the movie by saying, "It's a bulls--- movie, I don't believe it." Affleck said, continuing to speak in Spanish, "I had to give Michael Jordan my respect," before going on to speak about how important it was to him to preserve the athlete's legacy.

The video, which was released on April 3, received more than 2 million views on TikTok, more than 160,000 likes, and 4,500 comments. Fans immediately took to social media to express their awe at the actor's language skills while making fun of the fact that his language skill is far "better than his acting."
