Yachting equals drama. After two back-to-back seasons of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' and 'Below Deck Mediterranean,' Bravo is all set to launch Season 8 of 'Below Deck', which from its trailer, looks double on the theatrics. There's love, hate, ego clashes and more that viewers will be entertained with this year. But there's also Covid-19. Will the show end abruptly or will continue keeping safety measures in check? Read on to know more.

Release Date

'Below Deck' returns on November 2, Monday. The show will premiere on Bravo, starting 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.

Plot

The plot is simple: A team of yachties look after groups of elitists who pay them handsomely for showing them around the Caribbean. On the surface, this may not seem special but the first look promises higg-voltage drama. The charter guests are more expressive than before and hardly every shy away from trying new things. In one of the scenes, a guest drops his pants, exposes his butt to the camera before stepping into the jacuzzi. Expect nudity this time, albeit with some modesty: guests eat off of a woman covered with food.

Cast

Captain Lee Rosbach (Bravo)

This season, Captain Lee Rosbach will lead the crew with returning Bosun Eddie Lucas and deckhands James Hough and Shane Coopersmith, Chef Rachel Hargrove, Chief Stewardess Francesca Rubi, with Elizabeth Frankini, and Isabelle 'Izzy' Wouters. Expect nothing less than fireworks. Unfortunately, Kate Chastain will not be joining the crew. She has been replaced with Francesca. Lee misses Kate but gives the new chief stew the respect she deserves, told The Daily Dish it wouldn't be fair to compare them.

"I'm not even gonna go there. Kate is always gonna have a very, very sweet spot in my heart because we worked together for a long period of time, and she was my right hand. There was nothing that I couldn't delegate to Kate that I just couldn't pass it off and walk away from it and know that it was gonna get done," Lee pointed out.
