Brian and Courtney finally get a chance to go on a date but things did not end up as he had been expecting. In the previous episodes, Brian had hinted that he has feelings for Courtney and wanted to see if their relationship could become romantic. Courtney too showcased some interest in Brian which gave him the confidence of asking her out.

It did not come as a surprise to fans that Courtney said yes when Brian asked her out. In today's episode, Courtney seemed a bit hesitant about the date. She hinted that she was excited to see how it went but was unsure if she really wanted to go. Despite her doubts, she decided to dress up and finally make her way to the date.

However, after reaching their destination Courtney told Brian that she was feeling a bit grumpy. She did not seem to enjoy anything and the two had long awkward silences as their third wheel. Finally, Brian decided to end the date and thought it would be best if they headed back to the boat. However, he was left upset with how everything went down.

Speaking to the camera he revealed that he would have appreciated Courtney canceling the plan rather than forcing herself as he had put in a lot of effort. Fans were upset with how Brian was treated and many took to social media to express this. One wrote, " Why is Brian wasting time on this whiny, immature witch?! Like suck it up & appreciate his efforts." Another added, "I feel a teeny bit bad for Brian but also you don’t ask someone the same day for a date when they’re busy AF. I would be grumpy too."

Even though the two ended up making out at the end fans thought that Brian should not be with her. One user wrote, "I feel Courtney is not bringing the same vibes & energy Brian is giving. I feel bad for him" while another added, "Courtney girl just relax and enjoy being out with Brian."

'Below Deck' airs on Monday at 9 pm on Bravo.
