'This is so iconic'
However, some fans hailed the star, with one saying on Twitter, "Watching this man open up the biggest night in music makes my latina heart so proud. A Puerto Rican artist that can barely speak English with an album that is entirely in Spanish, is opening the @RecordingAcad So proud!" "I love how Bad Bunny doesn’t sing or rarely speaks in English, and wining," another user wrote. One said, "This is so iconic, bad bunny singing merengue at the American English speaking Grammys. I love him".
