MIAMI, FLORIDA: 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' hits theaters on Friday, June 7, bringing back the iconic duo of Miami cops, Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence). In this latest installment, they find themselves in a series of comedic yet challenging situations.

The plot revolves around Mike and Marcus' mission to clear their former captain's name from corruption allegations. Interestingly, there's a role reversal between the two, with Marcus staying cool under pressure while Mike battles panic attacks.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' dives deep into the characters' psyches as they carry out their tasks. Throughout the story, they grapple with inner conflicts and personal demons, all while striving to exonerate Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano).

When you think of 'Bad Boys', you usually think of comedy and action, but this time, the movie offers plenty of emotional moments too that is a significant addition to the film.

The movie doesn't move away from its entertainment quotient and the overall structure of being a fun film to watch, but there are moments in the film that you don't expect from a film of this sort and you are pleasantly surprised as an audience to be taken on a journey with characters you've known for over three decades.

The film is under two hours and the duration is perfect for the film and its pacing. The highlight of the film is the point where Martin's character considers himself immortal and shoots in every direction without connecting a single bullet.

Action sequences are the highlight of this film

'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' is a huge upgrade on its previous installment when it comes to the production quality and action sequences. The directors have worked very hard in how they have designed action with the use of point-of-view angles, aerial shots, and continuous sequences blending all of them in the most slick way possible.

The shootout sequences and the bloodshed look incredibly real and almost make the film look like an out-and-out action flick. These sequences along with the humor make this film a complete package for the viewers.
