Billie Eilish fans, climb aboard the hype train as the five-time Grammy-winning artiste has announced a ton of big things she's cooking up. The 19-year-old alt-pop phenomenon took to her social media on December 21 to tease a new era of music while joking about retaining her current hairstyle. Additionally, her news comes with the promise of a brand-new album.

On her Instagram Stories today, during the early hours of December 22, Eilish shared several videos with a filter that gave her head horns. "Okay, I have a fun story to tell you. But first, f**k you guys," she began in the first clip. "Stop making fun of me, oh, my God, I'm f**king making you an album. I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!"

The 'Bad Guy' singer then referenced her upcoming documentary 'Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry' which is scheduled for release on February 26, 2021, noting, "I'm changing it after the doc comes out, it'll be the end of an era. I'm gonna give you a new era." She continued, "I have announcements to make, I got some sh*t to put out. Anyway, those are my... leave me alone. Let me live with my f**king hair that I've had for way too long, okay? Shut the f**k up."

Fans on Twitter have been quick to share their excitement. "Omg we will be streaming," said a fan while another wrote in all caps, "PRINCESS OF ALT IS COMING." One fan noted, "Hope that she’ll make something different."

Fans also shared comments about her look, hoping to see a change. "She looks so happy good for her, but that hair gotta go asap" expressed a fan. Another wrote, "I hope she goes copper with her hair I think it would look so good." "FINALLY WE WON! I HATED THAT GREE[N] HAIR SO BAD PLEASEEE," added another fan.

Eilish has teased the notion of a new album before. Earlier on November 30, Eilish spoke in a video interview with Vanity Fair that she's been actively engaged in a new project while under quarantine.

She explained that the songs she has been working on are like nothing she's done before, so that does answer the aforementioned fan's concern for something different. Now confirmed as an official album, Eilish hasn't confirmed a release date yet but we will need to keep our heads on a swivel after her documentary is out in February.
