Additionally, her news comes with the promise of a brand-new album.

On her Instagram Stories today, during the early hours of December 22, Eilish shared several videos with a filter that gave her head horns. "Okay, I have a fun story to tell you. The 'Bad Guy' singer then referenced her upcoming documentary 'Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry' which is scheduled for release on February 26, 2021, noting, "I'm changing it after the doc comes out, it'll be the end of an era. I'm gonna give you a new era." She continued, "I have announcements to make, I got some sh*t to put out. Anyway, those are my... leave me alone. Let me live with my f**king hair that I've had for way too long, okay? Shut the f**k up."

Eilish has teased the notion of a new album before. Earlier on November 30, Eilish spoke in a video interview with Vanity Fair that she's been actively engaged in a new project while under quarantine.

She explained that the songs she has been working on are like nothing she's done before, so that does answer the aforementioned fan's concern for something different. Now confirmed as an official album, Eilish hasn't confirmed a release date yet but we will need to keep our heads on a swivel after her documentary is out in February.
