Azealia Banks, who has been time and again dubbed as transphobic and homophobic, once again got on the wrong side of the LGBTQ community after she stormed off the stage citing event promoters' alleged unprofessionalism. The controversial rapper created a fuss and tossed her mic abandoning her fans in the middle of her set.
 
Fans, however, on Twitter, had a different theory revealing that the 31-year-old emcee apparently came two hours late to headline her set at Wynwood Pride performance in Miami. Before throwing away the mic, Azealia went on a rant against her event promoters saying, “For the last good, like, month and a half, I've just been being f**ked with. I've been being f**ked around with, you know? Set time's been move and like, 'Oh, you're headlining. No, you're not headlining. Now you're not this.' I'm really not happy to be here. Azealia added, “I'm so unhappy to be here. But what did the fans ever do? What did you guys ever do, right? I'm trying, y'all. But it's difficult."

Azealia Banks rips apart promoters after getting booed off stage

Taking to Twitter hours after storming off the stage and getting booed off by the audience, Azealia explained her situation saying, “I should have done something at west palm beach pride because somebody tío with the ashy feet and braided sandals def cooked up some Molotov dry ice. I have the biggest headache ever rn. Wow.” She, in another post, “And overarchingly desperate attempts to legitimize themselves with piss poor attempts to craft hilariously unsophisticated and pointlessly aggressive “contracts/documents/lawsuits,” They think have any legal validity outside of the brains of the intimidated migrant cult.”
 
In her next tweet, she posted, “Wynwood Pride was way too ghetto. I had to bounce. Every tech rider in Azealia Banks’ history of live performance specifically states - no dry ice as I am EXTREMELY allergic to it. Photos will show massive clouds of dry ice which began to make me lightheaded to a point I could.” And, added, “I am legit having the most intense allergic reaction rn. Trying very hard to stay on my feet, alert, awake and hydrated until the doctor arrives. It’s scary.” She further explained, “When you hire glam squad drummers guitarist DJs security guards and an entire crew who expect to work from 7, and your tour Manager is alerted that your set time is now 1 AM people have to rearrange their entire itinerary. Extreme unprofessionality.” Azealia concluded, “I literally have a text message from the promoter assuring me that there would be no dry ice implemented in my performance - yet, Still came on stage to clouds of dry ice. I’ve performed Coachella twice and had that simple request honored.”

‘Who thought it was a good idea to make her headline at a pride festival’

Social media users trolled her brutally for her actions as one posted, “Why was she of all people invited to perform at a pride event in the first place? Lol.” Another shared, “JFC, fog machines don’t operate on dry ice. She was clearly on something. My friends were there and saw the whole thing.” One person stated, “Who thought it was a good idea to make her headline at a pride festival???”
 
The next one shared, “Some people are stupid as f**k because how did literal adults think that azealia banks headlining pride was gonna go well.” Meanwhile, another posted, “Why the hell do they even invite her to a "Pride event", when she literally thinks that trans women are men? Like, wtf? I'm saying this as an Azealia Banks simp.” One added, “Y’all actually paid real money to see Azealia Banks (a transphobe) perform at pride.”
