It may have been a year since the 'Avengers: Endgame' released and Marvel fans are still to come to terms and process the events that unfolded in the behemoth film.

Comicbook had the Russo Brothers coming in as part of their Quarantine Watch Party where they revealed massive details about the making of the film while the Russos live-tweeted heartwarming clips and trivia while the film was on. One of the many things that drew tears while shooting was Chris Evans' last day of playing Captain America which the brothers shared on Twitter.  The clip saw Evans in his Captain Uniform uniform hugging the crew as they clapped for him.

Naturally, the clip had fans celebrating and thanking Evans for his wonderful performance as Steve Rogers/Captain America. "He will always be my captain America," tweeted a fan. "Such a great ending to a great character. The soldier finally got to come home," remembered a fan.  "For me, he was and always will be the best Captain America ever cast," said another. "He looks like such a nice guy. He was a perfect Captain America," remarked one of the fans.

"Thanks for making Captain America my favorite hero from the winter soldier to the other 3 movies," read a grateful fan's tweet. "Absolutely love Chris as Cap. No one could have portrayed him as well as Chris did. I love the ending he got, but Chris is going to be missed in the MCU," tweeted another. "It makes me wanna cry... such an emotional moment to give closure to an iconic character for him and the fans. There is no Captain America without Chris Evans's stunning, realistic and committed performance... " wrote a fan.

Evans first donned the suit in 'Captain America: The First Avenger' in 2011. He followed it up with two more standalone films, 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (2014) and 'Captain America: Civil War'(2016).  One of the biggest "Holy s***t!" moments in 'Endgame' was when Cap lifted Mjolnir, Thor's hammer. It was a tease first made in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and one fan reminisced the scene as he tweeted: "Cap lifting Mjolnir gets me every time."

"His work as Captain America will forever be my favorite. He did him more than justice," a fan opined. Here's the best tweet saved for the last: "There will never be another actor who can play Cap than @ChrisEvans"
