Spoilers for 'Assisted Living' Episode 11 'A Lamb to Slaughter'

Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living' has maintained its air of comedy for quite a while, with silly jokes filling up the screen as they continue to appear in the same room, wearing the same clothes, almost creating a caricature of things. In Episode 11, however, things get very serious, very soon and of course, Sandra is behind the cause of all the concern and worry.

Sandra sneaks out of the house and lands herself in a situation that could have gotten very very dangerous, very easily. Leah doesn't so much have a talk with her as she and Jeremy ground her and while some fans feel it would do 'more harm than good', others are contemplating just how hard this whole episode hit home for some mothers.

Sandra sneaks out of the house to go meet her much older new crush, the bus driver, without informing her parents. At one point Jeremy and Leah discover both their kids are missing from the facility and spend the whole day worrying and looking for the young teens who could be anywhere in this absolutely new city. Eventually, they find Sandra in a situation that couldn't have ended real bad as the young girl was on the verge of getting sex-trafficked without even being aware of it. Her parents just knew right away though and brought her home only to have a little chat, most of which was grounding her, that Sandra still had the audacity to call 'unfair'. And this has sparked some Twitter discourse.

"It’s so frustrating that Sandra didn’t even think how serious the situation was and then when parents grounded she said that it was unfair," shared a viewer.Another wrote "Sandra just don't know but she'll have to learn the hard way like most teenagers will.. " A third fan also reflected "Any mother know this episode hit home a very serious situation."

While some wished "I hope Sandra learned her lesson because sex trafficking is a real thing. Kids go missing everyday," others insisted "Wake up kids sex trafficking is real." A viewer was also of the opinion "I can guarantee that last scene did more harm then good. Should have had a dialogue with her. Now she’s probably going to get into some real danger trying to sneak around."
