SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: A video showing Kim Seok-jin, 30, the eldest member of BTS, saying goodbye to his mates — V, Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope and RM — before entering the frontline South Korean boot camp on Tuesday, December 13, to start his 18 months of mandatory military service has left fans teary-eyed. In the video, the members couldn't seem to stop rubbing Jin's newly shaved head.

Following the upload by BTS on Thursday, December 15, fans emoted their feeling with crying emoticons watching the video. One said, "Jin, we're gonna miss you. Please come back safely, WWH. JK was very quiet compared to the other members. Can feel the sadness over his silence because he will miss the best Hyung." Another said, "the way Jungkook touches and looks at Jin breaks my heart."
